Lake: |
Beginning production in June 1999, McClean Lake
has an annual licenced production level of 8 million lbs. U3O8. |
| Cluff Lake: |
Mining was completed in 2002. The site is almost completely decommissioned. |
| Midwest Project: |
Midwest will be co-developed with the McClean
Lake project. |
| Uranium
Exploration: |
AREVA Resources Canada manages an exploration programs in northern Saskatchewan, eastern Alberta, Nunavut and Quebec. |
AREVA Resources Canada is also involved in several joint ventures in
northern Saskatchewan operated by Cameco Corporation (Uranium
Joint Ventures).
With majority or significant interests in major Saskatchewan projects,
AREVA Resources Canada is well positioned as an important supplier of
uranium concentrates to electrical utilities worldwide.
